To demonstrate their innovative paper testing technologies, Leipzig-based company emtec Electronic will be present at two prestigious paper and pulp exhibitions in October. Visitors will be able to connect with emtec at the International Pulp and Paper Congress and Exhibition ABTCP 2026 in Sao Paulo, Brazil from October 6 to 8 and the International Exhibition of Paper Industry MIAC in Lucca, Italy from October 7 and 9.
The ABTCP brings together experts, industry leaders and companies that are crucial to progress and innovation in the pulp and paper sector. For emtec it presents a valuable opportunity to showcase their digital paper measuring and testing solutions among the latest technologies and products shaping the future of the industry. The Technical Congress will provide a chance for an exchange of experiences and knowledge between key market players whereas the exhibition serves once again as a space for business prospecting and networking within the industry.
This year emtec Electronic will be represented at the ABTCP by Sales Area Manager Daniel Ohndorf and Brazilian partner company Elof Hansson’s team, particularly Osni dos Santos and Evanice Torres Fernandes. Together they will showcase emtec’s innovations to support manufacturers and converters in improving product quality and reducing production costs at booth number 131/133. The CAS Charge Analyzing System and the FPA Fiber Potential Analyzer will be featured in the exhibition where visitors will be able to learn about how the devices can determine the particle charge and zeta potential in the wet-end of paper production. As is tradition, emtec returns to this year’s MIAC together with 250 international exhibitors of the paper industry sector. The fair once again offers its platform to present machines, equipment and systems for improvement in managing the various stages in the paper production cycle. As technicians of paper mills and tissue converters are looking to update on a professional level, the exhibition enables emtec to pitch their digital solutions aimed to enhance production efficiency and sustainability. In the spotlight of this year’s exhibition at the MIAC will be the ACA Ash Content Analyzer as the team lays out how suppliers, producers and converters can benefit from its quick and innovative measuring principle for the detection of mineral fillers in paper and board. With wide-ranging application areas from process optimization to quality assurance and complaint management, the ACA can determine the total ash content and the percentage content of the typical fillers in the paper industry within seconds and in a non-destructive way.
In addition, visitors will also be able to examine the TSA, FPA, CAS and the PDA Penetration Dynamics Analyzer, designed to measure surface sizing and surface porosity of paper and board.
