Södra is among the top one percent of companies assessed for sustainability according to the independent sustainability ratings provider EcoVadis. The 2026 assessment shows that Södra is once again ranked among the top performers of the more than 175,000 evaluated companies in over 230 sectors and 180 countries. EcoVadis is one of the world’s leading sustainability assessment platforms.
EcoVadis’ evaluation covers four main areas: environment, labour and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement. With an overall score of 88 out of 100, Södra receives its highest ranking to date and is awarded a platinum rating.
The environmental strengths include Södra’s systematic sustainability work, certifications, monitoring of sustainability performance and reporting of climate emissions, where Södra has targets in accordance with the Science Based Targets initiative. The work on Södra’s business ethics programme has also contributed to an improved score in the area of ethics.
