At Luxe Pack Monaco 2026, Fedrigoni Special Papers will place color at the heart of its showcase with the launch of the revisited Sirio Color range, the centerpiece of its display in the prestigious Hall Verrière at the Grimaldi Forum. This historic range of uncoated papers, appreciated since the 1960s for its deep and vivid shades, is now enriched with fifteen new colors — making 42 in total, 19 of which are also available in a rough finish. Chromatic uniformity, sheet purity, and formation quality remain unchanged; what evolves is the focus on lightfastness, systematically improved and harmonized across the entire range, as well as a reduced carbon footprint thanks to the use of renewable energy in manufacturing. Under the slogan "Trust Your Color," this redesign celebrates the power of creativity and invites designers and brands to trust their color choices and bring their vision to life.
Fedrigoni Special Papers, a global leader in the production of specialty papers for packaging, publishing, and other creative applications, will return to the Hall Verrière at the Grimaldi Forum for Luxe Pack Monaco 2026 (stand VA04), where it will present its flagship solutions alongside the relaunch of a historic range: Sirio Color, one of Fedrigoni’s most iconic uncoated colored papers.
Created in the 1960s and appreciated ever since for its ability to easily adapt to inspirations, trends, and brand requirements across numerous applications, the Sirio Color range stands out for its rich, intense colors that bring visual depth and character. With this redesign, the range welcomes 15 new shades, bringing the total palette to 42. The new shades, such as Vivid Red, Oasis Green, and Moonrise Blue, have been developed taking into account the evolving needs of the packaging sector, offering brands and designers an even wider palette to express their identity, celebrate every moment, and translate cultural nuances through color.
The rough version also expands from 11 to 19 shades, responding to growing market demand for tactile, textured surfaces. In addition to Sirio Color and Sirio Color Rough, the range includes Sirio White/White and Sirio Ultra Black papers. The latter, like all black papers in the collection, is manufactured without carbon black pigments and is distinguished by the intensity of its black and its excellent lightfastness.

Among the distinctive features of the Sirio Color range has always been the use of carefully selected fibers, ensuring long-term stability, high sheet purity, and optimal formation quality. Lightfastness — the paper's ability to retain its color over time without fading — also relies on fiber quality and the rigorous selection of dyes and pigments. Ahead of its relaunch, lightfastness was improved and harmonized across the entire range, accompanied by a significant breakthrough in sustainability. Sirio is now manufactured using renewable energy: certified biomethane replaces fossil-based natural gas, and the electricity used comes from renewable sources. This evolution contributes to a significant reduction in the product's carbon footprint, from raw material extraction to the factory gate. This reduced impact is measurable and transparent through dedicated Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) data, allowing customers to quantify and communicate the real environmental impact of their projects.
At the Fedrigoni stand at Luxe Pack Monaco, visitors will be invited to discover Sirio in a new light through a dedicated paper experience. This will include a new swatchbook for the range as well as a visual booklet highlighting Sirio's Italian heritage and its long tradition of expression through color.
